Beautiful town Chinese Garden so peaceful a must to see.park is close to town clean and owner delightful
I arrived late looking for a place to camp and was "greeted" by a hostile park staff that seemed to like throwing his weight around saying I had to shove off. I called earlier to make a booking but was left with a message to leave my details. I can't believe some people are in the hospitality industry. This guy should be a bouncer. This wise guy has got it all wrong. I called well beforehand to book a cabin and didn't speak to anyone...I left a message. When i arrived I realised that it was late so thought it wise to simply asked for a piece of grass to put a sleeping bag on. He says I was too close to a couple of female campers.... I didn't go looking to see who my neighbours were. It's not surprising that the reviews only score the place about 3.5 stars. People comment on the rudeness of the staff...that's not going to help the rating.
This is a great family park but I think the management is extremely rude if you are not a paid guest! We were with a fairly large group, unfortunately due to insufficient accomodation 2 families had to book at a different location. We were politely asked to move our cars to make way for paying guests. This we did and upon our return were more aggressively instructed to leave the premises...this escalated into full out screaming match between Management the 2 families and guests.Unfortunately the management of this place has no idea on how to manage customer relations, promoting or marketing the business they manage. We've stayed here twice before but will NEVER again and will NEVER recommend it either!
What a lovely small country caravan park. This park is set in top end of town. Very good location. Service station with convenience store and Subways stones throw and Aldis across the road. Very handy. Can walk to main centre of town. Managers very nice and keep the park well maintained. Evergreen and decidious trees scatter the park.Cabins were quite lovely inside and neat and clean. Plenty caravan sites. Dog friendly. Was booked out for long weekend. Just cute and nice feel park. Recommended. We will come again and stay longer. Young is a lovely big country town. Known as the Cherry Capital. Some beautiful places to go visit and see in Young and surrounds . M.M.
Very helpful management. I look at some comments but, proof is in the experience. We loved it. Young is not as young as the name suggests. Its an older NSW country town (city), with well thought out wide streets. Could not believe how many shops there are here, with the benefit of country living, the biggest cherry orchard growing area, known as the cherry capital, the cherry festival held sometime end of November. With buildings dating back to the 1800's still in glamorous exposure, you wonder why we don't still build with this heritage style. Love the old buildings and house's.
