Very good service and a friendly environment
I have heard from people I know that have stayed at the Goldrush Motel. They have all given the motel a 5star ratings. Whether it be the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms facilities or the service from the staff it's never been a negative comments.
Pretty dreadful. Booked in for 2 nights, all paid by my employer, and we couldnt stand the thought of spending the second night there, so went home instead. Cold, dated and noisy.
Stupid me booked my night here for a week later, but I rocked up and explained my mistake and they were able and happy to let me stay tonight instead. Really friendly staff. It's not fancy, but I didn't pay for fancy, and everything is clean and comfortable. There is some highway noise, the only room they had left was closest to the road... but I'm just happy to be sleeping in a bed and not losing my money! Short walk into town. Apparently the hot water can run out if you shower too long, but I just had my regular length shower and it was fine. They have signage to warn you as well.
Needs a make over badly. It's old and smells that way. They are stingy on amenities and 1/2 the lights dont work in the rooms.
