Great pup, friendly staff had a good chat for 3 hours and a great meal to finish it off. Would come back again
The room was so grotty we decided to keep driving.Opening the door to room 12, the first thing we noticed was the bad smell. Then the dirty condition of the bed spreads and carpet. A look at the shared bathrooms was the final straw.As all the other locations in town were booked out, we drove over an hour and a half to Wagga Wagga to stay with a friend rather than wanting our bodies to lie on those beds.I've stayed in a great number of pubs and motels from the early 1980s, when I was working in the music industry, but this was about the worst I can recall. In fact, if you took one of the poorer ones from then and didn't maintain it till now, you'd have this place.I just couldn't imagine getting drunk enough to want to sleep here. In fact, the footpaths and gutters outside in the street looked cleaner and smelled much better
Great place to stay and eat.
Dirtiest pub I've ever stepped foot in. Publican is a slob. Cockroaches near the dining room are bigger than tip cats. Holes in walls , filth all over the place. Had to take own mixers to have a drink and the dirty slob still charged top dollar. Health department should step in. Room s upstairs leak into shops down stairs. Tetinus shot and a good scrub down with bleach is recommended on exiting the premises.
Ensuite in middle of town for $60 / night. Room for two adults and two kids. Better value than a regular motel (since 1904)Stayed for three weeks, $330/week. Staff are excellent, restaurant is good.
